Vinyl Bear have partnered up with our local pub The Cross Keys to provide some outdoor social activities, The Spicy Socials

We have a close connection with our local pub, ( I mean who doesn’t when you live in a small village) one of our closest friends who was often seen wearing Vinyl Bear clobber Mark Steene was a great lover of the outdoors (especially cycling) had a unfortunate inncident that left him paralised from the shoulder down for several years, you may have joined us in past activities helping to raise money with him for the Wales Air Ambulance. Unfortunately a couple of years ago Mark passed away and his family and friends got together, bought our local pub and renovated The Cross Keys to what it is now in his honour.
Now with the help of a few of his friends we have helped create the Spicy Socials, you can find up todate information on what we are doing on our Facebook page and The Spicy Socials Website .

The idea of the social group is for people to meet up and go for ride, run, walk or hike a couple of times a month, we will not be aiming to beat strava times or break any records, all of our events will be done at a casual pace and no one will get left behind and then enjoy a drink at the pub afterwards. We are highlighting the ‘social’ side of it 🙂
We do this on a volunteer basis and don’t charge anyone for our events all we ask is if you have some spare change then donate this to the Wales Air Ambulance.

All of our events are free to join, it’s just a social gathering. If you can’t join us feel free to download the route guides and do them at your own time.

Please Note: All bikers ride and hikers walk at their own risk and the Cross Keys or the event leaders cannot be held responsible for any personal
injury to themselves or any third party… and for any loss or damage to any personal property.
